The Spain international has brushed off failing to mark Danny Welbeck in the draw with Manchester United
Sergio Ramos says Jose Mourinho has never questioned his ability despite the Real Madrid coach saying the capital club were guilty of losing “individual duels” in their Champions League clash last week.
Danny Welbeck snuck ahead of the Spain international as the visitors grabbed a vital away goal in the 1-1 first leg, last 16 draw with Manchester United, but the defender has complete confidence in his own ability.
“My education and my style has never been noted,” the 26-year-old told mundodeprotivo.com.
“I keep my opinions to myself, I‘ve always said that everyone is free to think what you like. My education and my style has never been noted unless we make mistakes.”
The nine-time European champions face Deportivo this weekend, but as fixtures mount up Ramos has one eye on the Copa del Rey clash with Barcelona and second-leg trip to Old Trafford in the Champions League.
“
Now is the time to be more united than ever, we have important games in different competitions and need to stay focused.”
