The Napoli striker is looking to leave the Serie A club this summer and is interested in working under Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, though they have yet to make any overtures
Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain is keen to join Liverpool this summer despite their failure to qualify for European competition in 2015-16, according to the Daily Mirror.
Higuain is keen to leave the Serie A club this summer and has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United in previous months, having scored 36 goals in 35 league games as Napoli finished second behind Juventus.
The Argentina international has two years left on his current contract but Liverpool have yet to make any approach to Higuain’s representatives or the player himself, much to the surprise of the striker’s camp.
