Serie A: Weekend review in five stats

League leaders Roma are scoring more consistently than any other Italian team while there were contrasting individual fortunes for Paulo Dybala and Mauro Icardi

It was another busy weekend of action in Serie A, ending with four teams level on 18 points just behind leaders Roma on 20.

Twenty looks to be the magic number for Rudi Garcia’s side, who have now scored in each of their last 20 league games – the only club in Serie A to have achieved that feat.

Goals are coming more easily to some than others. Inter striker Mauro Icardi’s struggles continued on Saturday but Paulo Dybala is proving to be one of the brighter lights in a tough start for reigning champions Juventus.

Gonzalo Higuain has been slamming them in but there was one major shortcoming which he corrected on Sunday, while AC Milan ended a brief slump.
