Whilst we wait for the next season of football to kick off again in August, many football punters have been using these betting sites not on gamstop to bet on the Euros right now. Real Madrid was able to sign Higuain from River Plate back 2006 for €12 million which was a lot of money back in 2006. Higuain did suffer during his first season though as his performances were judged due to lack of goals. Higuain lead the Madrid side to three league titles during his period there, and since leaving they have only won it once since 2012 which is quite telling. Higuain announced himself on the top European football scene during his period at Real Madrid due to 107 goals in 190 appearances.

In the summer of 2013, there were several top clubs that were interested in signing Higuain due to his impressive strike rate at Real Madrid and if he can do it on that level, he can do it at any level. It was Napoli who were able to secure his signature for €40 million and he was given the number 9 shirt. Napoli were never seen as a title challenging side in the Seria A but Higuain and co were able to lead them to the 2013/14 Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana in 2014 also. Higuain scored 71 goals in 104 games for Napoli which granted him a move to Juventus.

Higuain became that hot property during the 2016 summer and joined Italian giants for a reported €90 million which was paid in two instalments making him the most expensive South American of all time at the time. Higuain was able to be crowned Seria A champion three times during his time there and was able to reach the Champions League final in 2016/17 then. He only scored 48 goals in 105 which was poor for his standard but will deem it as a successful period.
