Dzeko to Juve, Milik for Roma?

There are reports growing in Italy that Edin Dzeko is closer to Juventus, which would open up Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik to replace him at Roma.

The transfer merry-go-round had ground to a halt over the last few days, with the Bianconeri seemingly going for Luis Suarez instead.

However, the Serie A season begins this weekend and Andrea Pirlo warned he needs a centre-forward “as soon as possible.”

With Suarez still arguing with Barcelona over the salary he will be owed to terminate his contract early, Juventus have turned back to Dzeko.

According to Radio Kiss Kiss, Roma have stepped up negotiations with Napoli for Milik, with a deal worth €25m plus up to €5m in bonuses.

At the same time, and Il Messaggero point towards a sudden surge in talks between Juventus and Roma for Dzeko.

It is still entirely possible Dzeko and Suarez could be at Juventus, but they need someone now and the Bosnian is the first choice for Pirlo.
