The midfielder was close to leaving los Blancos in January but insists that he is ready to give his all to shine for the club after starting against Rayo Vallecano
Real Madrid midfielder Kaka says he is confident that he can prove to be a valuable asset for the club this season.
The Brazil international has failed to cement a starting berth under Jose Mourinho, and has been restricted to intermittent appearances while the Portuguese coach has been in charge.
However, the former AC Milan star started in Madrid’s 2-0 win over Rayo Vallecano over the weekend, and hopes that his hard work will pay off with regards to first-team football this season.
“When I’m struggling, I can still dream about my successes,” he told AS. “But, training as hard as I am doing, I can achieve my goal and shine for Real Madrid.
“I’m working hard for the team, for me and for the Real Madrid coach. I’m recovering sensations that seemed lost.”
The 30-year-old intimated in January that he wanted to return to Milan, but the switch failed to come to fruition.
