More COVID-19 cases at Juventus U23

The COVID-19 outbreak at the Juventus U23 squad is growing, with another player and a member of staff testing positive.

A statement from the Bianconeri this evening confirmed the latest round of swabs had found two positive tests.

They were for player Tommaso Barbieri and an unnamed member of staff.

It comes after U23 coach Lamberto Zauli tested positive, sending the whole team into fiduciary self-isolation at the J Hotel.

Another member of staff and player Lucas Rosa then tested positive.

That is also where the main squad are isolating following a series of positive tests, including Weston McKennie and Cristiano Ronaldo.
