Fabio Paratici believes Cristiano Ronaldo is better than Lionel Messi, but ‘it’s a pleasure to experience this period of football with both in action’ ahead of Barcelona-Juventus.

“We are among the fortunate few who are here to enjoy Barcelona-Juve on this marvellous stage. It’s a pity there’s no crowd, but we hope to have them back soon,” Paratici told Sky Sport Italia.
“I am curious to see how this team evolves, improving week by week, the way it grows. We’re on a journey and it’s progressing gradually.”
This is the first time Ronaldo and Messi have faced off on the same pitch in almost two years, as CR7 had COVID-19 when Barca won 2-0 in Turin.
“These are two players who wrote the history of football, between them winning 11 Ballon d’Or trophies. Of course, I’m going to say Ronaldo is the best, as he is with us and we all love him very much.
“They are both great champions, it was a pleasure to experience this period of football with both of them in action. Having one of these giants in our team is a great privilege and we are going to enjoy him to the full.”
Paratici was asked about the on-going investigation into Luis Suarez and his Italian exam at the University of Perugia, but refused to reply.
“I already talked about this, the club released a statement, and I have nothing more to say.”
